Although this blog is devoted to art and finding my way in that world, I will digress here a bit to explore the impressions left on me by the “sub-continent”! Traveling to India was a once in a lifetime experience. The three-week journey which included five internal air flights allowed us only to skim a tiny surface of this intensely diverse country. We were 24 strong-minded, experienced travelers with as many as sometimes 4 fantastic guides. From all of the overwhelming sights, sounds, smells and tastes, I’m sure we each have different memories and tales to tell. Mine will be forthcoming in the form of what I call “imprints”. They are neither stories nor just pictures, but some aspects of the Indian experience which linger with me … soon to come.
